VAB crane tests
Read a post some months ago disputing that the high bay crane was ever "tested"
against a raw egg. Can personally attest that this was done back in the Apollo days when the bus tours went to the VAB. So, got to looking in the personal archives and I managed to find a poor quality b&w photo of the crane head being lowered onto a styrofoam cup. Glad to send a .jpg of it to anyone requesting it.
