Two things? Yikes.

Perhaps he should go out and come back in again?

Style issue... so, let me clarify;

(1) off-load asset and programs to the private sector, to those interest in acquiring them; in this way improve cooperation between government and industry to bring private capital to bear where possible;
(2) transfer NASA missions to the military where there are synergies between NASA and military missions;

And this is why people laugh at you, Mookie. You said "two things",
listed three, and are now trying to walk that back rather than just
admitting you muffed it or moving on.

Look for space to be mentioned on the 28 Feb 2017 joint session of Congress and for it to point to space based power and making humanity a multi-planet species as critical issues for the Trump administration.

trump is a chaos president........

trumps wall now estimated at 20 billion and climbing.

the wall wouldnt work, but his construction friends will make millions.......

they will go under the wall by tunneling, over the wall, come in by boats and submarines.....

Process question:

Does the president write a budget, and present it to congress/senate for
approval/changes (and then sign the modified budget), or does the budget
originate in congress/senate ?

The way it usually works is that the White House submits a recommended
budget to Congress. However, Congress is under no obligation to pay
any attention at all to it. This budget request is usually submitted
the first week in February but is frequently late, particularly in a
President's first year when there is a change in party in the White
House.

Then the House and Senate Budget Committees put together their own
budget resolutions using the President's budget request and budgetary
reports from the Congressional Budget Office. These are supposed to
be passed by each house of Congress by April 15. However, there is no
legal obligation for either the Senate or the House to pass a budget
resolution (and the Senate frequently doesn't in recent history). If
they do not, you potentially get a 'continuing resolution'. If both
houses pass a budget resolution, it will then go to reconciliation to
get the final budget that is sent to the President for signature.

Trump can brag all he wants, but if it is congress and/or senate who
actually write the budget and Trump only gets to sign it, I really doubt
that Trump would veto budget that doesn't include a NASA perk that Trump
would like.

The budget is usually sent to the President in pieces, so he would
have the opportunity to sign some pieces and veto others.

NASA has not figured prominently in his campaign. And people in Trump's
mental condition have a narrow set of topics they focus on.

You were doing fine right up to here. Just what is Trump's "mental
condition" and which medical report did you get it from? You've now
wandered off behind the little animals into nutter land.

So it is quite doubtful he will push for NASA.

True.

He'll push for protection againsts imaginary enemies (all muslims,
mexicans, people of colour),

And you're back to being a nutter.

tax cuts

True.

and reguylatory freedom for his golf course customers (bankers), and
perks for building contractors (build some wall) who will then likekly
give Trump Corp better deals when Trump Corp wants to build something.

And you're back to being a nutter.

Walls seem to work just fine in Israel. Worked pretty well in Germany
back in the day, too.

I'm not convinced it's truly practical, but I think you overestimate
how easy it will be to get around. Do you want it to be more
difficult for illegals to enter the country or not, Bobbert?

Your interpretation of me saying it should have been two, not three, is why people don't take anything you say seriously.
