I would think she would rather prescribe Merlot wine if she's a heart
doctor. That's what I drink a bottle of every night for my heart, now
that I can afford it again. Beer is not as good as wine for the
heart.

Or is she more of a "Pee-Air" doctor?

43F here in the greater Beaverton/Hillsboro area this afternoon.
Overcast, sun breaks, not raining, humidity 74%, and wind SE at 4
mph. Saw some ice pellets on the ground as I left the library
yeasterday. An easy night to stand in the park.

When I walked into Starbucks this morning at 3:30 AM, the beatiful
manager, Michelle, was there, and coffee was on the house for Double--
A. Kim has been showing up early, about 5 or 6 AM since she was told
not to sleep in her other spot. But she still prefers to sleep in a
chair outside (wears a ton of clothes!)

Later we had steakhouse chili out on the varandah and a big box of
post Valentine's Day, 50% off sale priced, choclates. The bookstore
asst. mgr. came out to smoke his cigarettes and shoot the breeze.
Andy passed by with his bike. The dog man walked by with his dog.
And the weather stayed pleasant if crisp. Lost in conversation,
suddenly I looked at my cell phone clock, and said, "Gotta catch a
bus!" So up here to the library with the bus driver who like nothing
better than a good conversation. And now I get to spend 2 hours her
talking to you guys

That's why it is so hard for me to move on, when my life is already so
pleasant.

You and Twitty should get together and write a book. You a mountain
man from Oregon, and Twitty a big city NY lady. Since Bush made
18,000,000 families homeless it would go over big. Twitty being a poet
could add life to it. You could call the novel "Living under the

Well Bert, I am keeping a diary of my daily experiences so it could
turn into a book someday. Twittering knows the connections with
publishers. I fancy myself a bit of a poet too. I don't know if
Twittering's is as pleasant as mine now. I hate to see her
suffering. Life is still tough for me in many ways, but I appreciate
the improvements that have come. I'll keep you in mind for my agent.
Barnes and Nobles next to Starbucks here has authors drop by and
promote their books.

42F here in the greater Bethany area. Bethany is the older name for
this general area, mostlly a farm community before all the suburban
development began here. Wind SE at 4 mph. Humidity a damp 92%.
Cloudy. Light rain showers at times. Forecast calls for more of the
same. The joke goes, "What do you call a rainy day in Oregon?
Another day like yesterday!"

I have been noticing how over trimmed the shrubs have been becoming
around here. With the armies of Mexican gardeners now roaming the
area, nothing is safe!
