Default Focal reducer help

I'm a LX90 user and currently setting up a digiphoto system, I bought
a Hutech IDAS LPS filter to help with the local light pollution - (
Leeds ) . I assume that this filter will increase the exposure needed
by my D70, so I was thinking about buying a focal reducer, I have seen
that there is a f6.3 & f3.3 available for my scope, but other than
reducing exposure I don't know what pro & cons they have.

Any explaination of there usage would be gratefully received.

Hi Tony

Further to the response to your earlier post, take a look at:
http://www.multimediamadness.net/wod...k_a_camera.htm

For Field Of View calculations with various focal lengths. It should give
you a better idea.
