The united states is violating Mars. The hegemonic leaders of the
country think it will be suitable for a new trophy of their
imperialist tendencies.

And burn a lot of money doing it.

I see a vision of Mars, dressed in a petticoat, leaning back in a bar chair,
fluttering a folding fan and protesting while Uncle Sam is pushing the
petticoat out of the way...

But will he go in, when he may not be able to get back out again?

mars? mars would be a man, i believe, but your analogy isn't lost.

mars is an innocent prisoner, and the statue of liberty is grabbing a
broomstick....

I see nothing in Scott's post to indicate otherwise, nor does the imagery
of a man in a petticoat, with Uncle Sam trying to get under it, in any way
conflict with the current reputation of the US government.
