I'm going to arm myself with a sharp knife and a big stick tonight as I head
out to my darksky spot on Mt. Pilchuck in the Snoqualmie-Mt. Baker National
Forest.

Any requests or suggestions of objects for me to observe and report back on?

What if he's looking for me. . .how would I deal with him if he finds me and
he is not in a good mood? Try to reason with him? Offer him my scope
and/or car? On the other hand, do you think he might be satisfied to look
at some DSOs?

In the infamous words of the Randy Quade character in National Lampoon's
Chritmas Vacation, "if he lays into you, its best to just let him finish,
.... if you know what I mean". g

I hear he is one of those scope snobs and will likely just mock your
lens coatings and your mount, refusing to look through any scope under
22"...
