Data mining the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) for RR Lyrae variablestars

Over the next few weeks I will post details of assorted data mining
projects
that I started (but never finished). Some of these would form the
basis of an
observing project and some might even form the basis of a peer
reviewed paper.

Please appreciate that my standard disclaimer applies in that all
these targets
are offered in good faith but it is your responsibility to check if
any of them have
been independently discovered and published elsewhere.
