Hardin 6" reflector
I'm leaning toward this Hardin at $249. Is the 8" at $100 extra that much
better? How do the sizes of the tube compare? I'm searching for a combination of deep space and planetary. I'm a newbie. Presently, I have a Mak from Orion, 102mm, but I'm thinking of returning it. Peter |

What is the purpose?...
You can get picture from various website Basically though, light surface is square of radius... so 6x6 vs 8x8 is almost double the light. And 8x8 is about 4 times light of 4x4(about 102mm ) "Peter Anagnostos" wrote in message link.net... I'm leaning toward this Hardin at $249. Is the 8" at $100 extra that much better?
