Hello Rob,

What happens when you try to install QT?

You could try downloading a more upto date version of QT from the net.

If you're using Win 95 then you need an /older/ version of QT. Either
that or a newer operating system. Apple quote a minimum spec of Win 98
for QT. SN is quite resouce hungry too so an old PC is will probably
be struggling even if you do manage to install it. Cartes du Ceil
might be better for you. It's not as pretty but just as functional,
download it from here http://www.stargazing.net/astropc/.

Nah

QT must be installed beofre Starry Night. I've used Starry Night with XP and
the latest version of crappy QT (yes even Apple make **** software) and I've
used it with Win98 and early QT versions. Just make sure QT is installed
FIRST and do a reboot.

I think CdC is MORE funtional, it does artificial satellite passes and
iridium flares - not very intellectual, but it is a onestop shop for all my
needs.

( I did get Starry Night with the mag, but still prefer CdC, Starry Night
includes a lot of jazz I can't see the point of - puts asbestos suit on!)
