Default Digital moon pics and book review on deepsky book

Hi all,

Since my last update I have been experimenting with digital pics of the
Moon, and doing some image-processing. For my first (meager) result have
a look in my astro-weblog. There you will find a small article with two
pictures of the Moon, one processed and unprocessed (only stacked) .
Very interesting to see the differences. Please feel free to add your

I also wrote a new bookrevie about Peter Birren's "Objects in the
Heavens, Deep Sky viewing list and field book for small scopes and

Finally I added a new sub-section to the Deepsky section, "Reports".
Untill now I posted my deepsky viewing reports in the Astro-Weblog. I
will continue doing this, but after two to three weeks I will move them
into the "Reports" section. This will prevent the Astro-weblog from
