Default Newbie question about Possl's

Hi all,

This may or may not have been asked recently, but what is the difference
between a standard eyepiece and a possl?

Thanks for your help

Pete

Thank's again David.
I had a feeling that it was a quality/field thing. I have had this Celestron
just a couple of days now and I am still very green. We had reasonably clear
skies here in Worcester tonight and I actually managed to find Saturn and
M45, so I'm chuffed to bits. Just need to understand more about finding
things in the night sky, and best acessories for better seeing.

Cheers

Pete

Thanks Pete,
Just be careful. Astronomy can be a financial "Black Hole" if you let it
get a real grip on you!!

There's no such thing as a "standard eyepiece". For descriptions of
different eyepieces and their qualities, see:
http://www.astronomydaily.com/atm/ep.asp

For comparisons of the specs of different manufacturers, models see:
http://www.klhess.com/telespec.htm

Best,
Stephen

Thank's for the pointer David, I won't be telling "er indoors" then. Amateur
Radio has been the black hole over recent years.
