Group,

Our astronomy club recently got a notice that our domain name is about to
expire. What's a reasonable and customary fee for domain name

registration?

If your domain is coming up for expiration, I recommend you just renew with
your current registrar and then shop for a better price, and then move the
name. If you get involved with a registrar change now, you risk down time,
if the expiraton occurs during the transition.

I own my domain least that's what my DNS records states and I get all
the junk email when my aniversery date comes up. My only gripe about
yahoo website services is they don't provide cgi so I can't host a good
forum like UBB. I don't really mind since I can use frontpage generated
forums. Plus I can host a ton of stuff and don't worry about over using
my bandwidth.
