Default Venus from Swansea

Projected with 10x50 binoculars onto glossy paper.
Photographed with a Canon 300D at 8:17:34am.
Settings ISO 100, 1/4000, f16.

other than the slight elongation it's very similar to photographing directly
through the binoculars:

which if i think about it isn't really that surprising.

So how do you do that? Do you use a filter on the binoculars or on the
camera? Best I've got is an infrared filter. It's clouded over now
anyway.

i got some baader film and made a cap-thing that fits over one lens, then
used masking tape to "attach" my camera on full zoom
