ASTRO: NGC 6888, The "Crescent Nebula" in Cygnus
Taken under near-full moon. A 10:10:15 RGB image with an STL-1301E camera
and a 20-inch RC Cass working at around F/5. The focal reducer was never intended for this use/scope, and that may explain why flat-fielding brightened up the corners too much. For more info on NGC 6888, see: http://www.kopernik.org/images/archive/n6888.htm George Normandin |
