Tiny Wormholes May Be Usable for Interstellar Communication

Brandon Q. Morris
16 Mar 2021
The Debrief

....[P]hysicists at the University of Oldenburg and the Universidade
de Aveiro in Portugal have now shown in a paper that wormholes could be
passable without negative energy. The researchers simplified their task
using a so-called semiclassical approach that combines elements of
relativity with aspects of quantum theory and classical
electrodynamics.

They used elementary particles such as electrons, along with their
electric charge, as the spacecraft that would traverse the wormhole. In
simple terms, if the craft could act like they particles, they could
travel through the wormhole. These particles can be described
mathematically with the help of the Dirac equation. This formula
calculates the residence probability of a particle according to quantum
theory and relativity as a so-called Dirac field.

Under these circumstances, as the physicists show in their paper, the
existence of a wormhole traversable by matter is allowed. ...

DARPA Will Use Marine Life to Spy on Enemy Subs
The Debrief, 16 Mar 2021
Over the last 3 years, the US Defense Advanced Research Projects
Agency, DARPA, has been steadily working on a bold attempt to convert
marine life into a vast army of underwater spies under the PALS program.
Instead of directly tracking adversarial subs, with the Persistent
Aquatic Living Sensors (PALS) program, DARPA is turning the sensors
towards marine life to harness organisms' natural ability to sense
disturbances as a means of monitoring strategic waters.

This may also be a hole big enough to let a truck through.
It is just possible larger chunks of normal matter could be made
to have the properties of a quantum particle and tunnel through
wormholes as well.

A wormhole (or Einstein-Rosen bridge or Einstein-Rosen wormhole) is a
speculative structure linking disparate points in spacetime, and is based on
a special solution of the Einstein field equations. A wormhole can be
visualized as a tunnel with two ends at separate points in spacetime (i.e.,
different locations, or different points in time, or both).
