Reward that s---hole of a country with massive telescope installation??

Ever since Apartheid was eliminated in the 1980's South Africa has
gone downhill. There are now more than 50,000 rapes and murders a year
there. It's crime rate is nearly the highest on the planet. There is
no guarantee it is any more stable than the Congo, or Somalia. And
they want to give it a telescope instead of Australia?

And let's not forget the decline of America since we freed the slaves
and let the darkies start having a say in things. There was much less
rape and murder before we started interpreting those as things that
could happen to blacks!

victory in the war. Don't make him out to be a saint.

Lincoln was primarily interested in saving the Union, slavery was at
best secondary. I doubt than any modern Republican would not abolish
slavery in the same type of situation. Still, Lincoln did free the
slaves.
