Default Climate and astronomy

Planetary climate is not isolated to the Earth but all planets display their individual climate and this is dictated by the degree of inclination -

If the Earth had a inclination like Jupiter’s then very little or no difference would occur throughout the year in terms of weather and the swings between daylight and darkness across the seasons. If the Earth had an inclination like the 82° of Uranus then the planet would be uninhabitable with huge swings between day/darkness across the seasons at all latitudes and similar to what occurs close to the Earth’s poles presently. It is not rocket science, a planet with a 0° inclination has an Equatorial climate where nothing happens while a planet with a maximum 90° inclination has a polar climate where weather changes dramatically across the seasons. The Earth with its 23 1/2° inclination is within this spectrum as a largely equatorial climate with a sizable but minor polar climate input. Increase the inclination towards 90° and the Earth’s climate becomes more polar, decrease the inclination and the climate becomes more equatorial.

When genuine climate research begins then people can stop dumping anxiety on kids using a minor atmospheric gas that is essential for life anyway and stop trying to make weather look like planetary climate. The usual declarations of a warmer month or year look anachronistic and from people who try to elevate modelling but cannot model climate themselves. Planetary climate is a spectrum within a heat budget fr each individual planet.
