Default nice article about how the moon formed

The New York Times has a nice article about the moon:
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/09/sc...-the-moon.html

The article touches briefly on today's full-moon-at-lunar-perigee,
but mainly discusses how the moon formed. Unlike many popular articles,
this one appears to be factually accurate, and includes links to several
original research papers. It also has some great "classic" 1960s photos
from the Lunar Orbiter spacecraft series.

Enjoy,

"There was of course no way of knowing whether you were being watched
at any given moment. How often, or on what system, the Thought Police
plugged in on any individual wire was guesswork. It was even conceivable
that they watched everybody all the time." -- George Orwell, "1984"
