Default Planck finds the Universe is a little older than thought

The Planck telescope has found that the Universe is 80 million years
older than previously thought, now it's at 13.81 billion years. It also
found that there's less Dark Energy, and more Baryonic matter than
previously thought. I think that makes Planck a big success for Europe.

Oh, and the new distribution of Matterark Matterark Energy goes from
4.5%:22.7%:72.8% to 4.9%:26.8%:68.3%.

Default eXergy consumption will slow to a crawl.

Another great post. Thanks Yousufâ‹…Khan.

At the start of the big bang, clocks ticked SLOWER and
eXergy ( energy that can do work ) was consumed FASTER.

Giga years from now, clocks will tick FASTER and
eXergy will be consumed SLOWER.

It could be a little older still. This paper estimated 14.7Gyrs based
on a mechanism of expansion that doesn't involve dark energy.

I'm not convinced by this paper.
