The stock market continues upward! The market likes political gridlock, it means less interference. I will hold my positions.

The economy has not been good for everyone. I walked up to see if the Gresham K-Mart store was still open, and found in a store closing sale! Up to 80% off on many items! Wished I could have found a fishing pole, but no! Walking back to the library, I noticed the Sears appliance store that was nearby is now gone! Pier One is still there, but I have heard they are not doing well either. Neither is nearby Dick's Sporting Goods. Malls are dying!

Here in Gresham as of 3 PM PST it is now 54F, clear sky, and sunny. Wind NE at 5 mph. Humidity 57%.

I heard about a guy who wants to legally change his age from 69 to 45! If people can now legally change their sex, why not age? Sounds good to me!

Double-A I will go with 38.Its all surgery.dye and standing straight.Walk briskly.Remember stuff, and have that $70,000 ear operation so you can hear good again. At 38 I had a good memory (I think) Now I'm so old and ugly I ask a girl for a pizza date "She calls 9/11" Life is not fair when you have grey hair. Once upon a time when I was 38 girls asked me for a date. Was gravity my curse that evolved me as to what I see in my wall mirror. I asked Mirror on the Wall who is the handsomest of all? Not you comes back, and this too." Stick your head in your **** bucket". Well AA you can see I'm depress today Bert

I'm a little depressed too as I approach a big age milestone myself. I never achieved the things in life I wanted most. But at least I was born. If not for that, I would have nothing at all!

Growing clouds here in Gresham. Now 50F as of 3:15 PM. Very calm. Humidity 61%.

Checked K-Mart closing sale again, but all clothes in normal sizes are long gone!

Back to sunshine here in Gresham. Currently 51F. Wind seems to still be west here in downtown, but expecting a shift to the east anytime. Humidity 62%.

When I see Kim, she tells me I'm looking better and better! When I look in the mirror I don't see that. But a little flattery can go a long way!

Sunny skies here in Gresham. As of 2 PM 52F. East wind blowing at 22 mph. Radio says that tonight it might get REALLY hard! Humidity 47%. Not a cloud in sight. Chance of precipitation 0%.

Getting any smoke from Malibu, Bert? Remember the show "Malibu Run"? Now it's run from Malibu!

100 years ago today they armistice to end the war to end all wars was signed in a railroad car in France! In an even greater war only about 20 years later, France was forced to surrender in that same railroad car! Gresham in all its small town spirit, has today all its flags flying along its Main Street!

Don't know about J C Penney. They gave me a new card about a year ago. I used to buy some things there. But their prices are too high for me now. I thought I could still use their card at Rite Aid, but I no longer can.

I got a kickback when I got my Walmart card, but I think it was only $15. They suckered me into buying some stuff there, but it too them 3 months to give me my kickback! I like their price on tomatoes and bottles of wine.

44F as of 2:15 here in Gresham. Cloudy but still dry. Yesterday the east wind blew so hard and cold, I just stayed home. It blew over 100 mph through the Columbia Gorge! Today it's down to 17 mph and dropping off. Humidity 64%. Some rain probable for tomorrow.

Gresham's mayor, Shane Bemis, was reelected. He has already been in office 16 years. Because of the system the politicians have put in place, local local officials can cowardly hide behind the label of "nonpartisan", so I can not tell whether Bemis is a Democrat/Socialist, or a GOP Mafia. But he owns an Italian restaurant in the middle of Gresham, and that fits with Mafia. I voted for the other guy, who didn't bother to shave before having his campaign picture taken!

Why on Earth did the people of Florida vote to abolish greyhound racing? I still miss the greyhound track that used to be just over the hill from me!

I loved Revere's Wonder Land dog racing.Had a system that worked too. The track was owned by Gerry Angulio and a Jew name Lubell. In Boston Jews Italians and Irish made up the Mafia.Big Irish and Italian war that lasted for many years.Jews and Mafia went hand in hand.Walter Annenberg was proof of that.Mayor Lansky Lucky Luciano and Bugsy Seagal grew up together in NYC(best of friends) and did the work for NYC 4 mafia families. Lansky big in Cuba Seagal built the Vegas Flamingo.(killed over it.) Oops just took another bet on Scott. If I lose(very doughtfull) I might have to go to the Hebrew free loan.Ha Ha Ha Tiny joke Bery
