Which engines did the shuttle use to reboost the station? Was it just
the aft or was it both the aft and forward RCS? Was OMS ever used for
this purpose?

Now, now, Jim! My own Google search turned up several hundred hits, only a
few of which were relevant to the particular question asked, and none of
which completely addressed the issue of forward vs. aft RCS. So it's fair
to re-summarize.

Your guess is dead wrong. Firing the OMS while docked would quickly result
in catastrophic structural failure of the shuttle/ISS stack.

The answer is that the shuttle's digital autopilot (DAP) supports four
reboost configurations, which use either primary or vernier RCS jets (or in
one config a combination of both). The vernier-only config uses both
forward and aft jets, while the other three use only aft jets. Which
reboost config is chosen depends on a variety of factors, including desire
to maximize ISS structural lifetime, minimize forward RCS usage,
availability of vernier RCS, time available for reboost, and shuttle/ISS
thermal constraints in the reboost attitude.

A review of earlier posts on this subject reveals that a forward-aft RCS
crossfeed was scheduled for installation to support use of the forward RCS for
station reboost. Has this crossfeed been installed on any of the orbiters? Is
it still under consideration for installation on orbiters that don't yet have
it?

Listing minimization of forward RCS usage as a constraint seems to indicate
that reboosts were being performed without the benefit of such a crossfeed. If
that's the case, how much of a constraint is it? I know there's not much
propellant up front...

The upgrade was cancelled before it could be installed on any of the
orbiters.

It's a pretty major constraint; perhaps not the most important one but way
up on the list of priorities.
