Default Color calibration

Does anyone know what it is happening with the calibration of Spirit's
cameras? Please, watch these photos:

The first is of the rock called Adirondack:

The second is a 3D model of Adirondack. This time is much less red and
it has parts of a green/bluish tone:

It could be a defect of the 3D model. However, please watch this
photo:

It is again less red and more blue/green. In general the photos of the
first weeks were more red than the ones taken recently.

Do some search-arounds, they mistakenly used the infared component instead
of the red in the beginning.
