I don't know. Some people are sorta "highly strung". On the upside,
I think they observe and internalize a lot more of their situations than I
do. That's probably a plus in many situations. I think I'm a tad dull-witted.
The steering wheel in my car is on the right side. Many people ask me
how I can adjust to that. It simply doesn't occur to me that it's strange
(for US roads). But I have friends who would have a panic attack over it.

Jerry Linenger probably has many attributes that made him an excellent
astronaut, and others that didn't (as possibly in an EVA situation). On
the other hand, I think I'd do fine on an EVA, but I doubt I'd cut it in
other essential areas. There must be an optimal balance between being
highly-strung, yet somewhat laid back at the same time

It's dangerous, in that it makes it very hard to see to pass, or make
left turns. Not that I'd have a "panic attack" over it, but I'd
certainly prefer not to drive it. I've had to do the opposite in the
Caribbean, where they use American left-hand-drive cars, but drive on
the British side of the road. It's nervous making, particularly if
you don't have a passenger to tell you what's going on.
