Make enough martyrs, the problem goes away.

Oh, really?

What happened to Carthage after the Romans destroyed it following the
third Punic war?

The Yom Kippur war was in 1973, not 1974.

And Egypt failed, too. I have often wondered why. Then I found out why.
In every battle the Tzahal (IDF) sends out a team of Cohanim
(descendents of Aaron the Priest) carrying a rectangular box,
approximately two cubits by two cubits by one cubit in dimension and
topped by two Cheruvim (Cherubs) cast in gold. The box is carried by two
long staves so that it will not be touched by anyone (it is generally a
bad idea to touch the box). Strange things happen to armies that try to
attack this priestly detail.

Remember how well the Luftwaffe did in breaking the spirit of the

You think they were angry and united before, just try killing their
children and watch what happens.

What if the Germans had fifty to one hundred megatons of nuclear death
to drop on England. Do you suppose the English would have survived to
fight another day?

If you deprive the Jihad Meme of its hosts it perishes.

I checked- you are correct on this.
That came as a real surprise to me- I'd assumed that they were in combat
before Pearl Harbor.

Claire Chenault's air pirates were -mercenaries-. The fought for pay and
were by no means part of the Army Air Corps nor did they in any way
represent the U.S. government.

There is an article in today's Telegraph about the possibility that
Iran's leader wants the Coalition to attack.

"There is, after all, a danger that military strikes against Iran's
nuclear facilities might boost support for Ahmadinejad - indeed, some
Iranian dissidents believe that his wild rhetoric is designed to
provoke precisely such an attack."

The Carthaginians were isolated to one location. If they had been
spread all over the world, they would not have been destroyed.

You start killing off muslims and 1 billion of them all over the world
will rise up against you.

Not very smart.

They were recruited well before Pearl Harbor but (again, at variance to the
war-time propaganda) the quality of the recruits left a LOT to be desired.
Chennault was canny enough to realise that they would be slaughtered by the
Japanese, so it was train, train, train, and then more training before they
were ready to fight. And by that time the war against Japan was already
into it's second week.

In a one on one battle between the Flying Tigers using inferior
aircraft, the best Jap Zero pilots would have made short work of
Americans. Clair Chennault taught his boys The Main Lesson: never,
never, ever try to turn inside a Zero. Ever. His boys attacked Zeros
two on one by coming out of the sun in a dive, they made one pass and
skedaddled away real quick. Twisty turny dogfights simply did not happen
which is why the Flying Tigers did as well as they did.

Putz.

Ad hom noted.

Genes are of little importance. Cultural artifacts are of supreme
importance. Race is nothing, culture is everything.

Pedantry noted.

OK, I'll use your jargon: " I do not believe genocide is an option
because it will not only fail but will strengthen the enemy's Jihad
pool.

That better?

jeez
