If ISS were lost somehow...
If ISS had to be evacuated today for some reason say debris hit damage and
control was lost and couldnt be reestablished do you think the station would be replaced? Or would shuttle ISS be scrapped? To put another way TODAY could ISS be sold tol the partners? |

If ISS were lost somehow...
Put it another way. Is there anything that cannot be sold or bought?

If ISS were lost somehow...
If a major element was lost (depending) it could be fixed, replaced or
bypassed. Exceptions to this rule are the loss of US Node 1, RSA SM and SO Truss. It would be possible to replace the US LAB before launch of US Node 2. The Airlock has no structural spare available so it would cost a bunch to make, but could be plugged and played, several spare truss segments exist (structural test and training articles) and could be made read for flight. They would fix it if the could, never ever give it up until is impacts in the south pacific. "Lynndel Humphreys" wrote in message ... Put it another way.
