Of course, making fun of Eric is like shooting piscine prey in a
barrel. On the other hand, the fact that they're in a barrel doesn't
mean that the fish shouldn't be shot.

It's going create quite a lot of splashed water though, isn't it?

Depends on calibre and muzzle velocity. With fish like Eric, though,
a shotgun is adequate, and one shot will do ya.

I kind of thought we would get to this. I did mean, though I wasn't clear,
that a labor cartel (or union) might be necessary in order to give the
employee's leverage when bargaining with the employer. A problem with unions
is that they can become monopolies on labor. On the other hand, without some
form of collective bargaining unit, would-be (or current) employees have
very little leverage compared with an employer, especially if said employees
are fungible.

Labor is indeed fungible to a large degree, particularly when it's low
skilled. That some would wish this reality away doesn't justify
legally preventing someone from working for less than minimum wage if
they wish to, or for any wage that's mutually agreeable between them
and an employer. It's a policy that has been particularly disastrous
for inner-city youth.

Who's opposed to a fair justice system? Can't you stay on topic for a
single post?

Did someone say 'on topic'?

Ahh... doors! Everyone talks about brick-n-board
shelving, but it was surplus doors that made an
elite bachelor space. Need a desk/workbench?
Doors and filing cabinets! Need a second one? 3
bucks for a used door at Value Village and you're
ready to expand! Need a large table for your
RPG'ing friends in the living room? Doors on
folding chairs made an uber-coffe table!

****in' -A!

And there's often a nice hole to let the cords through

There are things within reach and things out of sight ... and in between are
the Doors.
