Default MIT OpenCourseware - Aerospace classes

Just an FYI to all you self-starters out there (especially
non-engineers/non-techies) who want to get a better handle on some of
the why's and wherefore's of aircraft, spacecraft and the like, MIT has
released a whole slew of completely free, web-based educational
materials from around 500 different classes accessible via their
website. Here's a link to the list of aerospace-oriented class
materials available:

http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/Global/all...cs%20and%20Ast
ronautics

The individual classes seem to have links to download class lecture
notes (handwritten pages converted to .pdf's in some cases, no less!),
assignment lists and so forth.

Hmm, seems useful although I didn't see anything about the design of
rocket engines. I can never keep track of the difference between gas
generator, expander cycle, etc, and it would be useful to have a
resource. I suppose I should buy some of the dead tree texts, but
between the cost and the space they take up on the shelf and such, I
haven't gotten around to it.

The other fact, of course, is that OpenCourseware notes are designed
to supplement a textbook, rather than (in most cases) replace one.
