Default Lights Out London - Effect on night sky

I understand that on June 22 there was a Lights Out London event in
England. A U.S. city is considering a similar event. I was wondering
if the London event resulted in any changes in its urban limiting
magnitude. - Canopus56

The event was on June 21st - the Summer Solstice.

However, it was only a token gesture between the hours of 9pm and 10pm, and
at this time of year, it isn't even properly dark then, as can be seen from
the pictures at http://www.lightsoutlondon.com/gallery.asp

So astronomy wise, it would have made very little difference.
