Amusing that the Independent's spell checker changed Radial Velocities to
Radical Velocities in the title of the thesis. Other reports got the title
right: "Radial Velocities in the Zodiacal Dust Cloud".

The Daily Mail:

Brian May, the lead guitarist from the rock group Queen, is gearing up
to study an astrology PhD.

I can't tell whether this is serious or not.

Probably not, because I see no mention of the effect on house prices.

Arrghh! A mistake like this had to happen eventually. It's one reason I am
an astronomer everywhere except at parties, where I become an
"astrophysicist" to try to head off horoscope questions.

Anyways, he isn't "gearing up", he is completing a degree started a long
time ago.
