Default Gingrich: NASA

Associated Press
June 9, 2007, 12:59 AM EDT

In a glimpse of what his candidacy might look like, he said he would
shut down public schools that aren't performing and offer a $20 billion
reward for the first private company that successfully completes a Mars
mission.

"Somebody would be there and back about 40 percent of the way into the
NASA process," he said

Nope. Translation, he wants to explore space,
not forever fund a non-performing federal bureacracy.

Is Gingrich talking about Ron Paul,
http://donklephant.com/2007/06/09/gi...ul-nomination/
Blogger Justin Gardner thinks so.

Probably not, but Ron Paul wants to return to a Free-Market economy and it
would probably affect NASA.

Well if that's the case, he just won the votes of 1/2 of sci.space.*.

That should get him about enough votes to well.. do nothing.

On the other hand, he lost 1/2 the votes of sci.space.*... which lost him..
well nothing.
