It's been several days since I've heard of an update on another possible
planet-wide Martian dust storm. I'd get out the scope and look myself only
it's been cloudy/rainy nearly all spring/summer.

Has anyone heard a recent update or made observatons.

See:

http://homepage3.nifty.com/~cmomk/2003/f_image.html

They are the quickest to get images and drawings up from the previous
night. At least they are the quickest that I've found.

Also See ALPO:

and then to the Mars section.

I was clouded out this morning (first time in two weeks) but as of
yesterday, things were *relatively* quiet. At least they are from
Martian longitudes of about 150° to 240°

I read somewhere that the dust storm was decreasing in size, and not
expected to be global.
