Default If Eta Carinae went super nova would we all be dead?

Hi, I was reading some posts on a website and they mentioned the star Eta
Carinae could go Super Nova within the next 10,000-100,00 years. They also
mentioned if it did go super nova it would effect the earth. Would it kill
everyone?
