If the LHC could generate these, why hasn't one already been formed on
the outer planets of our solar system by an ultra-high-energy cosmic-ray
proton? Those planets have the vacuum and temperatures that come pretty
close to what the LHC will have, and the energies far exceed (10000x)
what the LHC can generate).

Our cosmic human form of existence is hardly a microscopic drop in the
bucket as is. Plus or minus a fraction of that microscopic drop isn't
going to get noticed by any other galactic intelligence that could
possibly have saved us from ourselves. Perhaps our cosmic time is up.

We've seen the unfortunate results of cosmic encounters and supernova
that had to have terminated trillions upon trillions of intelligent
species, as well as having sent countless of others on rogue paths
that may never survive their next encounter. Perhaps the LHC with
it's trillions upon trillion of protons merging at nearly 2c is our
final ticket to ride for all it's worth. At worse it'll all be over
in a flash.

Most humans are systematically taught to not speak unless spoken to.

Most humans are more deathly afraid of their own kind than outsiders.

Most humans are perpetual wait and see bystanders.

Perhaps a few LHC scientists need to pay the ultimate price before
mainstream media dares to even take another objective look-see at the
what-if of the LHC playing God.

Apparently the LHC science could have been accomplished at 1/10th
scale. Makes me wonder as to why it got so large and thereby so
capable of doing such great harm.

Whenever there's great sums of public and private loot involved, it's
going to be next to impossible to derail their actions without taking
fairly drastic counter measures. Perhaps one rogue cruise missile
with a tactical nuclear warhead could do the trick, like the
conventional warhead one we'd allowed to destroy a Chinese embassy.
