Default "100 Years of Flight"

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics has just issued a
500+ page coffee-table book on "100 Years of Flight".

subtitle: A Chronicle of Aerospace History

authors: Frank Winter and Robert van der Linden.

ISBN1-56347-562-6
TL515.V23 2003

It's an awesome production. Try to get a copy.

I tried to be as generous as only a fallible fellow author can be toward the
errors, however, and still wound up dismayed by their frequency and
seriousness, especially about space flight. But before I get too picky,
let's see what other people think.

I'm just too curmudgeonly, sometimes.
