Potential Impacts: Area of impact primarily poleward of 55 degrees Geomagnetic Latitude.
Induced Currents - Power grid fluctuations can occur. High-latitude power systems may experience voltage alarms.
Spacecraft - Satellite orientation irregularities may occur; increased drag on low Earth-orbit satellites is possible.
Radio - HF (high frequency) radio propagation can fade at higher latitudes.
Aurora - Aurora may be seen as low as New York to Wisconsin to Washington state.

There is probably a huge radiation component to an El Nino event by virtue that the phenomenon is organized around the Earth's rotational characteristic (Equator) just as an aurora centers around the polar latitudes.

The higher view of nature is lost amid the noise of warnings and doom laden predictions hence genuine research rarely shows itself these days even when an El Nino event and its unknown cause would normally take center stage as it effects are felt throughout the globe.

The situation which was already dire when Von Humboldt offered his comments is now immeasurably worse . The generational problems passed on from one generation to the next by this aggressive strain of empiricism has created the horror where the most basic observations are disputed for no other reason than proponents sat in front of teachers who themselves never thought through the issues.

There is nothing going to stop an El Nino and its effects but what contemporaries seem to ignore is that today people can adapt in certain ways to the changes in weather conducive with the Oceanic temperature and that is the only long term weather prediction which makes sense in terms of human activity. Trying to force planetary climate into long term weather modeling using a minor atmospheric gas is truly shocking once people realize what it does obscure even when El Nino research is in its infancy.


The empirical ideology is a multi-headed monster that shows itself to the wider population as 'warnings' when the genuine scientist should see opportunities and ideas.
