Default A little help please. Any ideas

I took my son to cub scout camp this summer and one of the
workstations was on Astronomy. He really was interested in this and I
became interested also. One of the leaders had a laptop with a program
that showed all the planets and stars. You could see what phase a
planet was in or you could set it ahead and see what it will be like
later. I do not remember the name of the program though. I do know it
wasn't Starry Night Pro. Does anyone have any idea what it might be?
Can you name some other programs that are planet or star related.

Thanks for your time and input!!

Mabye Astronomy by the Compton's Learning. In my opinion, it's at the top of
the astronomy game, if not the best. I paid around $30 bucks for it, but got
every cent back for the rebate. After you use that program, you'll feel very
bad that you got your rebate back, because this program is worth it every
penny.

Also, since you took your son to a scout camp, it's quite possible that they
used a program called Star Gazer, which usually comes with books on
Astronomy, and we use it at university for beginner astronomy.
