Better.
they work on a difference in specific weight, and that dfifference
is bigger at jupiter top atmosfere surface(2.7G gravity).
Deeper into the atmosphere the lamp gets squeezed to bit by the
pressure.
There is no surface at any reachable depth.

"In" Jupiter would be more acurate..
