Hi All,

For UK subscribers;

I see that The Widescreen Centre is advertising a "module" for the
EQ6(?) mount that plugs into your laptop and mount which enables you to
control the mount from a planetarium programme. I have attempted to find
more info but said dealer is being coy and not replying to my emails.
Does anyone in this group know what this is and how it works? I have an
EQ6 mount, not GOTO, and I would find this module very useful; and it is
cheaper than going to an EQ6 Pro mount.

Thanks,
JPD

AFAIK this won't work with a standard EQ6, it needs the interface board and
steppers that the EQ6 Pro Syenscan and Syntrek mounts use.
