Default Shuttle power when docked

I am curious. How much power does the shuttle draw from the
station in amps when docked or is all power generation
independent on the shuttle when docked? Is the power all DC
or AC or a mix?

The shuttle generates its own power until the first SSPTS flight (STS-118,
June 2007). The generated power is all DC. Inverters convert it to AC as
required.
