I wonder if you can tweek the meade 902 electronic EP
to allow long exposures?

Hi:

No. It's a video camera, not a webcam. The best you can do is use a
framegrabber to download images to your computer and stack the images
with Registax. If you want long exposure, you need a modifiied webcam
or a Meade LPI/DSI.

I'd be surprised, since it is really more like a video camera and
outputs a composite video stream. Intent is to display scope images on
a TV set.

The Neximage is more versatile, it appears, but does require a computer
for its use.

That said, I'm sure someone has modified it. But with the Neximage and
similar devices selling for around $100, modifying the Meade B&W EEP
seems like a task with little motivation :0
