my boss just got a power seeker as decoration in his office and to
start astronomy (mostly the former). he knows I like astronomy and
wants to talk to me about it when he sees me.
1: how do I break it to him that my telescope is 39 times as powerfull
and his is essentially useless?

2: how do I do 1 without breaking down into laughter and pointing?

With that attitude, I'd recommend you just go ahead and point and
laugh at him. You'll show him what an absolutely thoughtless, arrogant
snob can do for his business, and he'll reward you accordingly!!

may give him his first heartbreak and the first realization that
aperture is where its at.
