With a 50 mm lens on a 300D at F5.

Interesting. But more details, please.

o Length of exposure
o Lens is f/1.8 or what?
o Any post processing?
o Camera piggyback on a driven scope, or how mounted?

o Length of exposure : 15X300s
o Lens is f/1.8 or what? Zeiss planar 1.4
o Any post processing? with IRIS, usual pre and post processing
o Camera piggyback on a driven scope, or how mounted? on a tak njp 160, a

bit too heavy... ;-)

Whatever the technological details, it's MAGNIFICENT. An absolutely
beautiful picture of the night sky...
