Really? A dark, small object miles away and far up in the night sky
would be visible to someone with no radar or meaningful IR scanning
capabilities?

The rest of your pointlessly argumentative nonsense snipped.

If we knew where the cave was, all we'd have to do is bomb the entrance
to it and seal him in.
BTW, the dread bin Laden Cave, which he picked up surplus after Ernst
Stavro Blofeld finally died and SPECTRE had its going-out-of-business
sale: http://www.edwardjayepstein.com/2002question/cave.htm
It is rumored that bin Laden has converted the piranha tank into a giant
Jacuzzi and replaced the knockout gas emitters in the elevators with
automatic air fresheners to give it that "new cave" smell.

They could vertically land it with rockets instead of using a parachute;
no one would notice that at night. :-D
Here, its inconspicuous larger brother disgorges rocket-belt equipped
troops: http://www.astronautix.com/lvs/ithacus.htm
That's one of the few times you are ever going to see a B-70 used for
low altitude cargo drops.

Or lock him out, if he happened to be on the throne at the time. A cave with an outside latrine should have a lower
rent, after all.

A: During re-entry, it'll look like a shooting star. People see those
fairly commonly and hardly ever shoot at them.
B: It'll look like a shooting star dozens to hundreds of miles away
from the target. The Shuttle hardly glowed incandescently all the way
to the runway.
