Hello,

I am new to astrophotography and have been studying since May. I want to
go out to a dark sky area somewhere 2 hours or so north of San Francisco,
where I live.

Is there anyone who does astro-imaging who wants to go out with someone,
perhaps to Lake Sonoma, or somewhere even a bit darker?

Jerry

If you go to
http://skyandtelescope.com/resources/organizations/ you can
find all of the astro clubs near you. One of them should be
able to put you in touch with others in your area.

Hi Jerry---I suggest checking out the following clubs.
www.sjaa.net
www.trivalleystargazers.org

Both have active and well respected astrophotographers who
do get out to dark sites.

Good luck--steve
