I think we both know that when a mount is found lacking, it starts showing up in droves on the used market. The same process that works for undesirable cars works for scopes as well. I agree that the best person to buy something from is one committed to the hobby who is truly upgrading to the next level. Reality is that there are usually people standing in line to buy from that person and the rank amateur has little chance of being the first one in that line. TMT I've learned a lot about telescopes and mounts, by buying used equipment that wasn't worth a dime. ;-) |
