Default What is the Luminosity of Universe?

Hello,

I'm wondering what the luminosity of the universe is, hoping it's not
infinity!

If anyone knows individual contributions, such as CBR, galaxies, SN's etc.
that would be a bonus. Guesses I could use for initial testing of some
concepts also appreciated, just let me know caveats for any values...or a
paper that gives values would be great.

L_universe = X Watts????

Thanks,

Ross Tessien

[Moderator's note: Since I'm the only active moderator at the moment
I'll short-circuit things and reply here. If the universe is infinite,
then the luminosity could be infinite. Rolf Stabell and Paul Wesson
didn't write that many papers together, but the ones they did are almost
all on this topic. Easy to find, for free, in their full versions at
ADS. If you don't know how to use ADS, find out.
