[fitsbits] Sample pixel list files
William Thompson wrote:
Are there any sample files available demonstrating the use of pixel lists? There is one at ftp://legacy.gsfc.nasa.gov/fits_info...2_3_basic.fits The second extension (STDEVT) contains the standard event list. The X and Y columns contain the sky coordinate of each detected X-ray photon. An image can be produced by making a 2D histogram of the values in those columns, and the WCS keywords can be used to attach R.A. and DEC coordinates to the image.
