Default Change through the National Geographic

The sudden disppearance of the conceptual concerns which dominated the
previous century owes more to fatigue on the part of humanity than it
does with any genuine breakthrough,at least where celestial phenomena
is concerned. The following excerpt from an article correctly identifies
that the disingenuous but irritating habit of discovery/reversals is
now diluting genuine achievements but more importantly exposing the
unstable foundations on which the 'scientific method' is built.Who
wants to listen to the 'mea culpa' of a mathematician with the National
geographic and the Discovery Channel providing the gorgeous
interweaving of life on the planet with the astronomical cycles which
dictate the great ballet of life -

"A third challenge to the survey plan is that science, for all its
authoritativeness, appears to many Americans to be a realm of perpetual
discovery and reversals. Despite the indication in Kull's poll that the
public is highly susceptible to persuasion by scientific consensus,
Americans also perceive science as a contentious enterprise in which
the prevailing consensus has often been overturned -- often by heroic
iconoclasts whose claim to fame is that they resisted conforming to
what later became regarded as a laughably misguided consensus."

The greatest advancement of the last century,in terms of astronomy, was
the emergence of the 1905 concept for it ultimately exposed the
Newtonian mutation of Copernican heliocentricity for what is always
was.In this era where things are returning to a conceptual molten
state,it would be wonderful to see the original astronomical blueprints
of Copernicus,Kepler and Roemer resurface and even to modify them for
21st century purposes.

Most certanly the old astronomical mechanism based on variable axial
tilt to a hemispherical metereological reference (Summer/Winter)
requires a complete overhaul and brought up to speed with global
climate data. The mechansim for global climate norms is not a property
of variable axial tilt but a mechansim derived from the Earth's orbital
motion. One look at the Earth from space almost certainly should alter a
person's view towards changing orbital orientation -

It is not a killer equation or a theory of everything that moves
people,it is wind, rain and the dramatic changes that are experienced
through human activity and influences on a global level that is
trickling down to variations in meteoroilogical patterns and events.
