Vast quantities of methane are stored in ocean sediments, mostly in the
form of clathrates, but methane is also trapped in submerged terrestrial
permafrost that was flooded during the last deglaciation. There is thus
concern that climate warming could warm ocean waters enough to release
methane cryogenically trapped beneath the seabed

Yawn, another monster-in-the-closet for the warmies to fret about.
Idiot.

Arctic seafloor a big source of methane
Measurements show that Arctic undersea methane deposits, previously
thought to be sealed by permafrost, are leaking into the atmosphere.

If we burn all the professional denialists will the temporary increase
in CO2 be balanced out by the reduction in methane?

Maybe the geenhouse effect was designed by God to illiminate future
ice ages. Either we live in thousands of years of Winter or we have an
eternal Spring.

What is it with you people that you're always trying to burn those with
whom you disagree? Didn't you learn anything in 1945?
