yeah my shuttle stuck at station was clearly possible since this
flight.

why did nasa basically ignore it?

fear it wasnt fixable and would end the shuttle program permanetely?
clearly so soon after challenger shuttle would of been grounded
permanetely......


I was thinking the same thing. It's ironic to see that the secrecy
behind STS-27 being a classified military mission put this critical
part of shuttle program safety set to 'ignore'.
